This 8 hour class is a hands-on, experiential training in how to use art as pre and post activities when you do the 5-step "Action" and In-Depth Balances that you learned in Brain Gym 101.
Online via ZOOM.
Prerequisite: Brain Gym 101 Class
Join me for an exciting and eye-opening one day workshop on how to use art as a pre and post-activity when you are using the Brain Gym Action Balances that you learned in your Brain Gym 101 class.
This is an entirely experiential workshop doing artwork to goals and learning from your own and other workshop members' artwork. You don't need to be an artist or "good" at art to benefit from this workshp. Work on professional and/or personal goals using art as your pre and post activities.
You can take what you experience and learn in this class into your classroom with your students, into your office with your clients and/or into your home with your family.
Like noticing, doing and looking at artwork as it relates to a goal provides powerful feedback for both facilitator and student/client as to how well the Brain Gym movements have worked for the goal. Plus, you can learn a lot from from the many elements of the artwork (colors, shapes, spacing, proportions, etc.) in ways that other types of pre and post activities don't offer you. Don't miss this chance for both personal and professional development!
Space in each workshop is limited to six people. You will learn concepts and methods of interpreting artwork, sharing with your client/student what you observe and asking questions. We do this by doing a Brain Gym balance with art as the pre and post activity and sharing with the rest of the group in the workshop and receiving their feedback, interpretations, comments and questions.
